Real life GTA themed restaurants are set to be opened this month. Smokin J’s BBQ and Las Vegas Fashion Brand boyworldwide have once again come together for an awesome art installations in and around San Diego Comic-Con 2023.
Last year, fans of Grand Theft Auto were treated to a real life Cluckin’ Bell in San Diego during Comic-Con. As we reported on in 2022, the restaurant featured authentic staff uniform, food boxes, menus and even Sprunk.
In a press release sent to us by Smokin J’s BBQ, Cluckin’ Bell will be joined by Burger Shot this year. It will be a sight to behold for all GTA fans.
What’s on the menu
Smokin J’s say they have crafted an exclusive menu for both Cluckin’ Bell and Burger Shot. This includes eCola and Orang-O-Tang.
On top of of food and beverages there will be other fun to be had at the venues. “Burger Shot will offer limited quantities of Burger Shot Stallion toy cars and uniforms.”
Meanwhile at Cluckin’ Bell there will be “limited quantities of their uniform, as well as exclusive yoga mats in exchange for conquering their Beat the Cock push-up contest.”
Co-Owner of Smokin J’s BBQ, Josh George, said ”We’re looking forward to welcoming all GTA-lovers, Comic Con visitors, and local San Diegoians at these events to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and a truly unique video game-inspired experience.”
When and where will they be open?
If you live in the area or are heading out to Comic-Con, here are the locations, dates, and times as to when the two restaurants will be open.
From July 14-16th, Burger Shot will be open at 14035 Midland Rd, Poway, 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM Sunday.
From July 19-23th, Cluckin’ Bell will be open at 751 4th Ave, 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and 11:00 AM until 12:00 AM Friday and Saturday.
