A group of people that make YouTube videos have shared how they got into Rockstar Games’ main GTA 6 office and were later questioned by police.
This was a truly desperate and despicable attempt to get GTA 6 information but a German GTA YouTube collective have no shame. They have made it very public how they attempted to get into Rockstar North. The Edinburgh-based studio is the lead development office for Rockstar’s titles including GTA VI.
In a video published this week, it was revealed that the group flew to Edinburgh, Scotland to try and get inside of Rockstar North. They even stayed at a hotel opposite the Rockstar North building.
Footage from the video shows the group of men entering front door of Rockstar North. The door leads to a large front lobby. The door is easily accessible for approved visitors sake. This does not mean fans should just walk in.
According to the YouTubers, security got rid of them within seconds. It’s great to see swift action take place. Law enforcement were also called on them following the incident. Police officers arrived at the scene to take their details and questioned them over their antics.
This stunt is yet another one from “fans” in recent times. There has been an increase in people borderline harassing developers from Rockstar by waiting for them outside of their buildings. This is nothing entirely new considering fans have tried to do learn information in various ways for their previous games. For example, there is the infamous story of drones being flown near the windows. This led to Rockstar having two pull down the blinds .
