Rockstar Games have launched a new GTA Online event for free money that is exclusive to Italy. It was revealed in an email sent to fans located in Italy. This is the first time the Italian GTA Online community can work together to earn a payout of money in GTA Online.
According to the email, Rockstar are celebrating the recent release of the Pizza Boy delivery missions in GTA Online. These arrived as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties dripfeed. Similar to last year’s Japan only event, this one is split into two parts.
First challenge and reward
Starting from from today, GTA Online players located in Italy are being asked to deliver 250,000 pizzas as a community. If completed by September 18th at 6pm CET, all GTA Online players based in Italy that deliver at last 1 pizza will earn $500,000.
Second challenge and reward
Rockstar also have another way to earn some extra cash. The company say in the email Italy’s top GTA Online content creators will be going head-to-head on livestreams in the game. The idea is to deliver as many pizzas as possible
The winning team gets bragging rights and will earn $500,000 in GTA Online cash for all GTA Online players in Italy. This event is really interesting and we look forward to Rockstar launching more events such as this one.
UPDATE: Rockstar Games confirmed via their Instagram page the Italian GTA Online community successfully completed their pizza delivery challenge. They almost doubled the target.
