In GTA Online this week, there are two rare license plates up for grabs. We’ll be showing you how to get them. GTA Online’s current Event Week (running from March 5th through 11th) features two Salvage Yard Robberies complete with a great discount on cars and rare license plates.
Each week, Rockstar Games rotate the Salvage Yard Robbery missions with three options plus the vehicles you need to grab. Sometimes, you are able to claim a vehicle that is part of a Salvage Yard Robbery. They occasionally will come with special license plates.
Salvage Yard Robberies This Week
Here’s a quick list all of the available robberies and the cars featured in them this week:
- The Podium Robbery: Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio with LS Pounders Plate (Claimable)
- The Gangbanger Robbery: Lampadati Tigon with LS Panic Plate (Claimable)
- The McTony Robbery: Obey Omnis e-GT
What Are The Plates?
LS Pounders Plate
Los Santos Pounders/LS Pounders are a football team within the GTA universe. The team’s colours are black, white and yellow. These are represented on the plate itself. It has only been up for grabs a few times so this is a rare occurrence.
LS Panic Plate
Los Santos Panic/LS Panic are a professional basketball team within the GTA universe. The team’s colours are purple and yellow. These are represented on the plate itself. The team is directly based on the Los Angeles Lakers. This was last claimable back in June 2024.
How To Get The Plates
If you do The Podium Robbery, you’ll be able to claim the car part of that job. The car for this job this week is the Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio featuring the LS Pounders plate. It usually costs $1,797,000 from Legendary Motorsport.
Meanwhile doing The Gangbanger Robbery also lets you claim the car paired with that job. The car for this job this week is the Lampadati Tigon featuring the LS Panic plate. It usually costs $2,310,000 from Legendary Motorsport.
However, by doing these robberies you can make them your personal vehicles for $20,000 each. This is a significantly reduced fee. You can then sell the cars to LS Customs for $65k each if you wish to do so.
On top of that, there is a way to halve the price even more. If you own a Document Forgery office, you’ll pay just $10,000 per car. The business does not need to be active to unlock the 10k price, just simply purchased.
