The GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills update has just released featuring mansions, new vehicles and all new missions with Michael De Santa. We’ll be showing you how you can get started with them and it involves the new autonomous KnoWay taxis.
Firstly, you’ll need to buy a mansion to access the Michael mission but everyone can do the KnoWay missions explained below. When you do buy a mansion, Michael and Amanda De Santa will greet you as you enter it for the first time and you’ll get a nice cut scene with references to GTA V’s Story and your GTA Online career. Once that is out of the way we can get to the missions.
KnoWay Missions
When you next load into GTA Online, you will need to open up the map and find the new A icon as seen in the image below. This is for Avi Schwartzman. He returns from the Heists update. You will need to complete 5 KnoWay missions for Avi to unlock the Michael missions.
On the marker, there will be a payphone ringing. Go to the payphone and interact with it using the d-pad. Avi will fill you in on what is happening.
You’ll be tasked to do work for him in sort of a mini-heist with setup missions. The first mission is called Negative Press and you’ll be destroying KnoWay taxis and causing havoc with them.
When you’ve completed the mission, the A icon will appear elsewhere on your map. Go to it and speak with Avi over the payphone. You’ll then get to do another mission. Repeat this process over again until you’ve completed the set of missions You’ll earn some good cash for doing all of them.
The mission names are Inside Job, Negative Press, Trash Talking, Tunnel Vision and A Clean Break.
Michael Mission
Do the 5 missions and wait for Avi to call your phone. This can take any amount of time, a few minutes or more. When he calls you, he will send you a mission invite. Accept it. This is a mission called Home Sweet Home.
This will vary depending which mansion you own and Michael is a big part of this mission. You will earn $500,000 for doing it for the first time. By the end of the mission, you’ll know get a tease of future missions coming to GTA Online possibly involving Michael.
