The fourth post-launch update for GTA V Enhanced on PC was released by Rockstar Games on Thursday. This latest update has come a little over a week since the new PC version was released to mixed reviews from fans.
After the new version of Grand Theft Auto V released, we covered the various issues players have had here. Those issues have led to players giving the game negative reviews on Steam. They have made GTA V Enhanced the worst reviewed GTA game on Steam ever.
Thankfully, Rockstar are committed to fixing it up and provided various patches last week. Now a new one has been published with even more improvements.
Fixes And Download Size
The update comes in at around 1.25GB depending if you play on the Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam or Epic Games Store. It will be downloaded when you sign into your chosen launcher. Patch notes have been shared by Rockstar and you can read them below:
- Fixed an issue that resulted in the framerate dropping when underwater
- Fixed an issue that resulted in the Avenger’s rotor shadows appearing incorrectly with ray traced shadows enabled
- Fixed multiple issues that resulted in crashes
- Updated error messaging for issues related to out-of-date drivers, machines under minimum specs, etc.
- Fixed multiple issues affecting users playing with DLSS enabled
- Fixed multiple issues that resulted in the game running out of VRAM unexpectedly
- Fixed an issue that resulted in descriptions not appearing in the graphics options in the Pause Menu
- Fixed multiple issues that resulted in a player’s GTA+ Membership status not being recognized in-game
- Fixed an issue that resulted in GTAV Enhanced not closing correctly when exiting the game via ALT + F4 or the Pause Menu
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players being unable to bind the T and Y keys on their keyboard
- Fixed an issue that resulted in Chameleon Paint not persisting after being applied to vehicles
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players not receiving the Homing Launcher if selected during the Career Builder
- Fixed an issue that resulted in the Organization leader getting stuck on a black loading screen in the Mission LSA Operation – Direct Action

More Patch Notes
At the end of last week, the third patch came out with a couple of fixes. Below are the patch notes for that update provided by Rockstar Support:
- Added a new error message to inform players on launch when they are not running a required DirectX 12 compatible video card
- General fixes for stability and security
Speaking of GTA V updates, Rockstar published a server side patch to all versions of the game on Wednesday night. Below are the patch notes from Rockstar’s support website:
- Fixed an issue that resulted in a transaction error when requesting a Luxury Helicopter as a GTA+ Member (GTAV Enhanced only)
- Fixed an issue that resulted in multiple character intros triggering after starting the Career Builder (GTAV Enhanced only)
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players getting stuck in the Nightclub property after entering through the garage entrance during the introduction
There are still a few other larger issues that remain unresolved in GTA V Enhanced. Those are detailed in this article here. We hope Rockstar can get fixes out for those as soon as possible. As and when another update releases for GTA V Enhanced, we’ll be sure to report on it right here at RockstarINTEL.
