The first post-launch update for GTA V Enhanced on PC has been released by Rockstar Games. It comes less than 24 hours after the version released to mixed reviews from fans. Whilst it was praised for various improvements to GTA V, a lot of players suffered a variety of issues.
Some of these issues were more problematic than others and have been documented here. The bugs that don’t prevent players from playing the game at least have now been fixed. Gamers with PCs that can play GTA V above 120FPS were quick to stop there was an FPS cap in place for no reason. Meanwhile GTA Online users who claimed the FREE Karin S95 were actually charged its in-game price of $1,995,000.
Patch Notes And Download Size
The update comes in at around 300-600mb depending if you play on the Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam or Epic Games Store. It will be downloaded when you sign into your chosen launcher. Patch notes were later posted by Rockstar Games on their support website. You can see the patch notes below:
- Fixed an issue that resulted in a 120hz cap being applied when Frame Limit is set to Off
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players being charged when purchasing the Karin S95 migration reward vehicle

Having tested it myself, both of these are now all good. The game runs past 120FPS and the S95 was claimed without having my bank account charged. So there you have it, two of the lesser problems were sorted by Rockstar in a speedy fashion.
There are still a few other larger issues that are persisting. Those are detailed in this article here. We hope Rockstar can get fixes out for those as soon as possible. As and when another update releases for GTA V Enhanced, we’ll be sure to report on it right here at RockstarINTEL.
