A popular GTA Online mod menu used for cheating in the game has ironically been hacked. The customer data that has been exposed by the hack is extensive. That’s some karma.
Atlas Menu is a popular and paid for cheat service for GTA Online. It is known for being able to bypass the BattlEye anti-cheat that stops most other types of mod menus.
First spotted by The Register, Atlas Menu was hacked at some point last month. This is not their first time being a victim of hacking but this incident in particular is a serious one as it contains lots of sensitive information. On top of that, all of the data has been released in plain text on github for anyone to freely view.
According to Have I Been Pwned, the data breach contains 63,900+ accounts. The database of these several tens of thousands of accounts contains a number of various types of personal data.

People who have paid for the cheat menu will find their email address, password, IP address, username and support tickets have been exposed. Real names, signup date, menu keys, Rockstar Games Social Club user names, reseller logs and more have also been leaked. Furthermore, The Register discovered there are admin logs, banned users and a number of other records.
The person who is claiming responsibility for the hack said they acted on revenge over a scam. Plus, they claim the Atlas Menu is spyware due to its abilities to capture screenshots without user’s permission. This will alarm those who have been using Atlas Menu when trying to ruining other people’s day in Los Santos.
The Atlas Menu website is offline following the security breach. Last year saw several mod menus taken down by Take-Two.
