Bored of Los Santos? Waiting for Vice City in GTA 6? A new GTA Online glitch is allowing players to visit North Yankton outside of the limited timed zombie survival mode. In this article we’ll be going through the steps on how to do it. This possible without mods and is available on all platforms: PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
In case you missed it, Rockstar Games released the GTA V Story Mode location of North Yankton’s Ludendorff Cemetery last week as part of a zombie survival. It has been a mega hit with fans. Over a million people have played it in just a few days and the community challenge has been smashed. Although this is an exciting location to return to, you don’t have much time to enjoy the area without zombies, the sky is dark, taking photos is harder etc.
Thankfully, if you’d like to spend time exploring the ice cold north without zombies, now there is a chance. GTA Online player Nuro has kindly shared a simple way to access the map outside of the survival and it only takes a few steps which are shared below:
Step 1: Bookmark the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival job

Open the GTA Online pause menu and select the Online sub-menu. There, scroll down to Survivals. At this time, there’s not many survivals in the menu. Once you’ve got to the Ludendorff Cemetery one, press the Bookmark button. On Xbox it is the X button, on PlayStation it is Square.
Step 2: Create playlist

Now you have the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival bookmarked, it’s time to create a playlist with it in. Whilst in the Online sub-menu of the pause screen, select Playlists, then Create, followed by Add Bookmarked Job. Xbox players can use Nuro’s pre-made playlist here that does Steps 3 to 5 for you.
Step 3: Add survival to playlist

Select the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival from the list of your bookmarked jobs to be added to the new playlist.
Step 4: Add another to playlist

Now add another job to the same playlist. This can be any contact job or deathmatch with vehicles as it really needs one with a flying vehicle so you can travel to North Yankton. This is a key step as it will load North Yankton according to Nuro. You could always create your own job and add any vehicle you wish to use in North Yankton.
Step 5: Save playlist

Be sure to save your new playlist that now has two jobs.
Step 6: Play the playlist

Open up the pause menu and go to the online sub-menu again. From here, select Playlists, then My Playlists and select the one you just made. Make sure it is the one with both Ludendorff Cemetery Survival and the other job. Now you can start the playlist.
Step 7: Start the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival

When the game loads into the pre-round settings menu, make sure you have some explosives. If you don’t, buy some here. If you are good to go, you can just hit play. This can be done solo.
Step 8: Blow yourself up

When the survival starts, there will be a timer in the bottom right of the screen. When the timer has ended, blow your character up using one of your explosives. Upon dying, the game of survival will end.
Step 9: Fly to North Yankton

After death, you will load into the next job you selected in the playlist. The screen you’ll see is the usual job settings menu. Simply press play to start the job. This loads the North Yankton survival map in day time.

As you can see from the images, you can visit more than just the Ludendorff Cemetery. It is not the full North Yankton map from story mode. GTA community member ClassiqueGTA explains this is not the Story Mode map but rather a cut down version of it.
For example, the Prologue’s pursuit section and Bobcat Security are cut. That said, this is still a fun glitch especially for those that want to revisit this area without zombies and maybe take some photos.

Rockstar Games will likely patch this glitch sometime in the near future. Be sure to make use of it whilst you can! We’ll be sure to cover any other major happenings with GTA Online during this spooky month. Check out our recent articles here.
