A question many people have asked is will any protagonists from other GTA games feature in GTA 6? There is a lot of hope for Tommy from Vice City but also the GTA V trio who have become famous in and out of game. GTA V’s story ends with the player being able to make 1 of 3 choices which decides the fate of a couple of them. There is a “canon” ending though Trevor’s actor would like to see inspiration taken from one of the others…
Trevor’s Idea
Actor Steven Ogg who is best known for his work as Trevor in GTA V recently did an interview with Screen Rant. He discussed many things relating to GTA. When asked if he was returning for GTA VI, the actor states he has not recorded anything for GTA VI at this moment in time. He does not think he will be in GTA VI. Though even if he was in the game, he would be under NDA and would have to lie anyway. Though he did give his thoughts how he’d like Trevor to show up.

“I wish it would be fun if Trevor appeared in it just to be killed at the beginning” the actor told Screen Rant. One of the endings in GTA V lets you kill him but that is not the canon ending.Steven continues by saying “I think that would be cool, because it also acknowledges the fans of like, ‘Hey, thank you.’ Pass the torch, stomp Trevor’s head in, and sort of put an end to that and allow a new generation to take over.“
Stomping on Trevor references how we see Trevor do the same in GTA V to GTA IV TLaD DLC character Johnny Kleibitz. Ultimately Kleibitz becomes a ghost in GTA Online.
Last year we learn from Ogg and his counterparts that Rockstar Games filmed a “making of GTA V” documentary which of course has never been released. Steven also shared details on the cancelled Secret Agent Trevor DLC which he filmed but once again did not come out. You can learn more all about those two things here.
