GTA 6 is set to be announced this week, with the trailer coming next month. This is according Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier who has a great track record when covering inside information in the games industry. For once, we have a reputable outlet and journalist providing a scoop.
Last year, we covered Jason’s reporting on GTA 6’s details and development. Most of the content he outlined would be later confirmed by the huge hack that leaked 90 videos. This included things such as two protagonists and the location: Vice City.

When will GTA 6 be announced?
In the latest Bloomberg article, Rockstar Games will apparently announce the most anticipated game of all time GTA VI, “as early as this week“. Rockstar Games announce games on their own time and not when it is expected. Many fans expected an trailer last month but that has been and gone.

When will the GTA 6 trailer be released?
The report from Mr Schreier claims Rockstar Games will release the GTA 6 trailer to celebrate its 25th anniversary in December. This is coming from a source that does not want their identity to be revealed. This was also corroborated by reputable community insider Tez2. As for a specific date, that has not been shared and is still underwraps.
Back in September, we covered some files found in GTA V. These are clothing items that celebrate GTA Online’s 10th anniversary but also Rockstar Games’ 25th year of existence. It seems like Rockstar will doing more than releasing content in GTA Online for its silver jubilee.

From our own sources at Rockstar Games and along with Sources our friends at Rockstar Universe have we can verify what Jason is saying that a Trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is releasing in December 2023.
We have also been told that the planned release date for GTA 6 is in 2025 but it may get publicly announced as 2024 with a planned internal delay for 2025. We were also made aware last month that Rockstar Games NYC have requested billboards for some major marketing in December.
(We originally wrote requested Billboards around New York City. This was an error and we weren’t told New York City, just Billboards were requested, but no location was given. Apologies for this error)
Regarding GTA Online, we were made aware a couple of months ago that Rockstar Games dont have any plans for a major December update due to the announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6.
All this information is what we have been told by a couple of insiders who have links to Rockstar Games. This does not mean it is true an is still speculation until confirmed by Rockstar Games themselves
