Rockstar Games has officially unveiled pre-order details about GTA 6. There will be a standard edition and an ultimate edition. Both editions will include pre-order bonuses such as vehicles, a weapon pattern, outfits and even hairstyles. The Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition Upgrade will also be available for Grand Theft Auto VI Standard Edition owners to purchase separately at any time. All details are down below:
Standard Edition
The standard edition will cost $79.99 include the ‘Vintage Vice City Pack’ as a pre-order bonus, making your journey in Vice City significantly more stylish. Also, it will come with a free month of GTA+. Here is an overview with all details:
Vintage Vice City Pack
Vehicle: ’55 VAPID STANIER
As Rockstar puts it on their site: ‘Cruise Shore Drive in this classic sedan and store it in the Shore Court personal garage that’s just a stone’s throw from the glistening sands of Ocean Beach. It features a weapon locker plus a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced.’ The car looks unbelievably gorgeous, packed with up-close detail not seen before this console generation. Not to mention the free garage you get included with it.
A weapon locker implies that the weapon system of GTA 6 might well be more in line with the weapon system of Red Dead Redemption 2, meaning you have a maximum amounts of weapons you will be able to carry at once.
Outfits and hairstyles
GTA 6 will have plenty have options to customize Jason and Lucia, as well as some suitably vintage outfits and hairstyles to go with it. Including a chic linen suit for Jason alongside a classic 80’s haircut. Lucia get’s a glitter red dress and curls. ‘Dress for excess with Jason’s effortlessly chic linen suit in vintage pastel, complemented by the cut and coif of the decade of decadence. Show everyone the world is yours in Lucia’s red sequin mini dress and curls.’ Rockstar details.
Weapon Pattern
GTA 6 will also allow you to customize your weapons with ‘weapon patterns’ allowing you to dress up your weapon in whichever way you see fit. The standard edition comes with a GTA: Vice City inspired weapon pattern: ‘Adorn most guns with a tropical pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s iconic palm tree button-up.’
Free Month of GTA+
For those who pre-order the game digitally (not physical copies), you’ll get a free month of GTA+ for use in the current version of GTA Online.
And that’s everything you will get when pre-ordering the standard edition of GTA 6. This free month of GTA+ is available to redeem immediately upon pre-order and must be redeemed before the expiry date. After the free month, memberships auto-renew monthly at the regular monthly price until canceled.
Ultimate Edition
The ultimate edition will cost $99.99 and come with several bonuses, such as: ‘an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action around every corner.’ as Rockstar states on their website.
Ultimate edition buyers will additionally receive the pre-order bonuses from the standard edition. Not only that, the Ultimate edition perks will be interwoven with GTA 6’s main story campaign: ‘Ultimate Edition bonuses are threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter.’ This also implies GTA 6 will have a chapter system just like Red Dead Redemption 2 had, unlike previous GTA entries. The Ultimate Edition also includes several shops, such as hair salons and car mod shops, that will be exclusively available to Ultimate Edition owners.
Mod shop: Rideout Customs
Perhaps the most controversial Ultimate Edition bonus: the mod shop for cars will only be open for business for players who purchased the ultimate edition. It being the first time Rockstar has stripped away a significant gameplay feature behind a paywall. ‘Transform vanilla vehicles into magnificent works of art with detailed interiors, exquisite rims, and donk stylings. Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.
Mod Shop One-Eyes W

This mod shop, is which also opened for business exclusively for Ultimate Edition owners, specialises in off road-modifications, presumably for Monster Truck vehicles and the likes: ‘This mod shop in Lake Leonida specializes in off-road modifications and hand-painted automotive artistry. Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.’
Vehicle: ’95 Grotti Cheetah
The ’95 Grotti Cheeta will be sure to catch the attention from any GTA fan, as it looks like it will be one of the fastest vehicles on the street: ‘Grotti’s signature mid ’90s sports car and ode to Shore Drive, the ’95 Grotti Cheetah is complete with a minimalist, retro-futuristic livery and available to punctuate later-stage action.’
Vehicle and Garage: ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy
Featuring a screenshot showing absolutely insanely realistic mud detail, not seen before this console generation. ‘A Mud Club monster offering impressive off-road handling for the backwoods of Mount Kalaga and beyond. Conveniently store it at the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay, which features a weapon locker plus a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced.’
Vehicle: Dinka Enduro Motorcycle
If you are looking to do some wheelie tricks while on the road you are in luck with the Ultimate Edition: ‘Switch gears and soak up the sun in an Army fatigue-tinged Dinka Enduro motorcycle’.
Vehicle: Crest Kayak
It looks like GTA 6 won’t just allow you to buy vehicles such as cars and motors, but also a Kayak. It looks to be included in Jason’s safehouse, showcasing him pedalling in Leonida waters.
Vehicle: Watercraft Shitzu Squalo
Luckily a kayak is not all you will be able to use to travers the Leonida waters, as the Watercraft Shitzu Squalo has you covered ‘Perfect for casting in Gambit Bay and reeling in catches of all sorts, this gradient pink and blue Squalo docked at Washington Beach is made open-ocean-ready with an explosives-laden weapons crate.’
Gang Compound: PTT YOUNGIN$ Illegal Goods Store
This Ultimate Edition Bonus implies you will be able to raid several compounds in Vice City and beyond for special items. ‘Raid the compound of one of Southside Vice City’s loudest and most socially active gangs and escape safely to score some special items and distinct contraband.’
Special Commission: Classic Car Collection
It looks like you will be able to accept commissions from several characters in GTA 6’s world, such as this exclusive commission included in the Ultimate Edition: ‘Track down a variety of abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars and revitalize them to their former glory in this special commission from eccentric collector and local fixer, Wyman.’
Weapons: Hawk and Little Morgan Revolvers
Rockstar Games seems to honour Vice City’s legacy in a big way with these Ultimate edition bonuses, including several nods to the Vercetti Estate: ‘His and hers versions of this powerful revolver with classic Vice City stylings sourced from the Vercetti Estate, including palm-tree-etched grips, engraved detailing, and high-performance scope.’
Weapons: Personalized Variants
The Ultimate edition will also includes some personalized variants for Jason and Lucia’s pistols: ‘Personalized sidearms with detailed engravings for Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol.’
Clothing Store: Stock 305
Stock 305 is only opened for Business for Ultimate Edition owners. Giving Jason and Lucia the opportunity to purchase outfits such as a black leather top and glitter skirt for Lucia, and a stylish sweater and sneakers for Jason.
Looks: Goodtime Gear
Some classic outfits featuring t-shirts with the classic Vice City font and a first hint at the game’s universe lore: Macca the Gator, featured on Goodtime State’s hit TV show. ‘A capsule collection of apparel and accessories inspired by the Goodtime State’s hit TV show character, Macca the Gator.’
Looks: Vice City Style
It looks like GTA 6 will offer extreme customisability in how you want your Jason or Lucia to look. Including these Ultimate Edition outfits showcasing Jason with a nice pair of sunglasses, a silver chain, a tattoo on his forearm and hand, back-combed hair and a blouse with flower details and an image of a speedboat in Leonida waters with the Vice City skyline on the background.
Lucia enjoys a braided hairstyle, a pair of glasses, a red jacket and skirt and some long tiger print heels to top it off.
Sara’s Unisex Salon
Another business that is exclusively locked behind the Ultimate edition, and thus not available for standard edition buyers. ‘Get signature salon styles for both Jason and Lucia, including facial hair for Jason and makeup and nails for Lucia. Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.’
Tattoo Shop: Electric Fang Tattoo
And yet another busnisess that is exclusively locked behind the Ultimate edition, and not available to standard edition buyers. ‘Stockyard’s most iconic ink bar, with over 50 signature tattoos for both Jason and Lucia — all designed by the artist collective FAILE. Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.’

BS game. Physical edition is a case with a download code. No disc to trade in. Hell, even Nintendo isn’t this bad with their game key cartridges. At least those can be used in another console. Screw GTA.
