GTA 6 is seemingly remaining on track and set to release without future delays as a marketing timeframe is doubled down on.
First reported by GameFile (paywall), things are looking good for GTA 6 fans. This information comes from the stage of a new gaming event called “iicon” in Las Vegas. It has been set up by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) who previously created and ran E3. On Tuesday, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick took to the stage and was interviewed by Variety’s Jenny Maas.
The CEO was quizzed by on Maas what day marketing would kick off for what will be the biggest launch in entertainment history. Zelnick refused to give out a specific date but did say GTA VI’s marketing would indeed start “soon”.
Back in February, Zelnick told investors that the marketing beats would be coming this summer. That in itself was actually something he typically would not say; he even acknowledged that. The CEO also teased that the marketing from Rockstar Games would be “astonishing“. Stay tuned for what will be a groundbreaking cycle in video game and entertainment promotion.

Many fans are speculating a third trailer will drop later next month based various reasons such as a big day for Take-Two as a company. Last week, the date was confirmed for their next earnings report and call. Full information of when that will be and what to expect can be found here.
There’s also some other GTA 6 and Take-Two news from the same talk given out by Zelnick. He dropped hints on the game’s price and reiterated the release date which should help calm some fans’ nerves. Additionally, the CEO even hinted at a future for another one of Rockstar’s franchises.
