Grand Theft Auto V once again become the number 1 best selling game across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australia last week, both physical and digital release (For the week ending July 14th). Yes, that’s right, that game that is about to celebrate its 6th year anniversary is still selling that well.
Grand Theft Auto V released in September 2013 and since then has always been selling well, over the past 6 years its mostly been in the top 10 best selling games and dropping out every now and then. The recent announcement of the long-awaited Casino update has, of course, help fuel the sales here, along with the amount of interest currently in GTAV Roleplay servers on PC.
GTAV knocked ‘Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fuelled’ from the number 1 spot, which released on June 21st. Even Rockstars most recent game, Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t in the top 10 on the EMEAA charts.
