The latest UK top 20 chart for most sold video games for September 2022 have recently been revealed by GSD. With Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both in the top 10 most sold games.
Its been revealed that in the month of September, 3.17 Million games were sold across the Island. Which is 83% higher than in August 2022 but still lower than September 2021 by 6%.
Just over 2.2 Million sales out of the 3.17 Million sold were digital copies, whilst the remaining 957,000 were physical copies.
FIFA 23 was the most sold game in September, with over 33% of games sold being solely copies of FIFA 2023 which is an insane amount.
Grand Theft Auto V then claimed second place in the charts, with Grand Theft Auto: Online (Standalone) taking the 17th spot in the UK. Red Dead Redemption 2 is still selling very well considering how badly Rockstar Games have treated the Red Dead Community over the last 12 months. Red Dead Redemption 2 was the 7th best selling games in September 2022.

Finally, regarding gaming consoles, 176,000 consoles were sold in September, up 41% compared to August, PlayStation 5 was the best selling console in the UK last Month up by 9%, followed by the Xbox Series X with sales jumped 104% and then the Nintendo Switch with sales rising 44%.
