Build A Rocket Boy Studio, the Scotland Based Studio founded by former President of Rockstar North, Leslie Benzies in 2016, has a few new things to share with the public today.

Build A Rocket Boy Studio are currently working on a new Open World Game called EVERYWHERE. The game was previously using the Amazon Lumberyard Engine. Today Build A Rocket Boy announced that the game will now be using the Unreal Engine, A game engine developed by Fortnite creators, Epic Games.

Unreal Engine is claimed to be the most powerful 3D creation engine in the world. It’s for sure the most popular engine within the gaming industry. The engine will have support for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and anything previous.

Also today, it was revealed that Build A Rocket Boy Studio has completed a Series B round of fundraising for EVERYWHERE. They didn’t say how much they managed to raise, Benzies did make a statement saying:

“We are fortunate to have great partners who share our vision and have invested in the studio to enable us to bring EVERYWHERE to life.  We are also very excited at how the current trends in the video game industry, as well as the creativity and passion of the global gaming audience, are further aligning with our vision for EVERYWHERE“

“Over the past four years, we have been able to build a great team at Build A Rocket Boy, and the development of the game has progressed well, EVERYWHERE is now running on Unreal Engine.  The engine’s tech advances over the last two years, and Epic Games’ roadmap provides us a great opportunity to create a game built on a foundation that will remain at the forefront of the industry for years to come.”
