Rockstar Games’ 2006 classic Bully (Canis Canem Edit) is getting multiplayer. Details and gameplay have been revealed exciting fans across social media. This is all thanks to a team of dedicated fans that have created a mod that enables it.
In a Tweet posted late on Monday, Rockstar Games content creator and huge Bully fan SWEGTA announced Bully Online. “After years of development, I’m glad to finally announce that BULLY ONLINE is happening!” He linked to a video of his which contained a trailer and gameplay along with details.
The Tweet has amassed over 27,000 likes which is impressive for one of Rockstar’s less popular franchises that has only had 1 game. It just goes to show how many people love Bully and want more of it. Bully Online finally allows players to go around Bullworth together which opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
Gameplay Details

The content creator says in the announcement video this project has been in development for quite some time and he has put in a lot of his own money but now it is ready to be unveiled to the world. The trailer shows a group of people playing the game together online taking down NPCs and each other. It is not just about being combative, players can enjoy vehicle rides together, roleplay, take part in minigames and more.
It is not a simple “add coop to a game” mod. A lot of new content has been created for it. From brand new mini-games to custom vehicles and purchasable houses, it is impressive to see. You’ll earn cash from playing the mini-games, finding items to trade and more. The money can be spent on weapons, properties and beyond. It is similar to GTA Online in that sense.
In terms of mini-games, there are a lot. These range from racing with different types of vehicles to a FPS deathmatch game where you play as a rat. You can see screenshots of them below.

In other Bully news, we recently learned from Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser why Bully 2 never happened. You can read about that here. Rockstar have actually updated Bully on mobile a few times in this year plus it got added to GTA+.
