Rockstar Games’ Bully is now part of GTA Online’s subscription service GTA+. This means anyone who is a GTA+ member on Xbox Series X|S or PS5 can now play Bully in full during their membership duration.
Back in April, Rockstar Games announced Bully would join GTA+ at some point “later this year”. A date was finally given to us at the start of this month and that day has now arrived.
Anyone with GTA+ is able to access Bully on their PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games say in their newswire say Bully access on iOS and Android devices is “coming soon”. These ports will likely need an update for this to happen.
Below is how Bully: Scholarship Edition now looks on the Xbox Games Store. It has the GTA+ logo above the name and is part of the GTA+ collection in the store.
It seems like Rockstar Games had to redo the Bully age rating for the GTA+ release rather than a new version release. Rockstar Games posted on their support site explaining the differences between Bully on PlayStation and Xbox. Below is the full info from their article:
Question: What are the differences between the versions of Bully included with GTA+ on each platform?
Answer:
- Players on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 can download and play the original PlayStation 2 version of Bully via the PlayStation 4 rerelease and PlayStation 5 backward compatibility
- Players on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One can download and play Bully: Scholarship Edition via Xbox backward compatibility
Bully: Scholarship Edition contains missions, classes, clothing items, and 2-player online minigames not included in the original launch version of Bully.
