GTA 6 is going to take over Discord when the game releases. A new leak has revealed plans for a collaboration between Rockstar Games and the chat platform.
Reputable Discord dataminer Wumpus Central found numerous parts of a GTA VI x Discord campaign within the latest version of Discord. The leaker claims that Discord is working on a limited-time promotional event, codenamed “Hexagon”.
This Grand Theft Auto VI crossover will contain:
- A GTA VI-themed app icon
- A GTA VI app theme
- A GTA VI-style custom display name font
- Potentially a quest with an unknown reward
There was also times and dates for the GTA VI campaign found in the code:
- campaign starts on November 17, 2026 (18:00 UTC)
- campaign ends for free users on December 8, 2026
- campaign ends for Nitro users on February 15, 2027
A screenshot of what the Discord app theme will look like on desktop has been published by Wumpus Central too. You can take a look at it below. It has a “Vice City” gradient effect to it.
This is not the first time Discord and Rockstar have worked together. There have been numerous times where fans could earn items. For example, watching Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 on Discord got you a short Discord Nitro subscription, offered GTA Online cash for connecting accounts and more.
