Rockstar Games have shared a little bit about the future of GTA Online in the form of some teasers of what’s to come next. These follow the company releasing The Kortz Center Heist update which some fans believe will be the final content drop before GTA 6 comes out. However, not everything released on day one is it for this iteration of GTA Online.
In their latest newswire post covering the new DLC, Rockstar drop some hints as to what we can expect to get in the coming months.
Firstly, Rockstar say they will be adding “quality creations to the Community Mission Series regularly”. Whilst the new update did include a lot of improvements to the Mission Creator, more content that can be used by fans will be released in due time. Rockstar say that some of the additions will include even more zombies, ghosts and ghouls and these are “planned for later this month”.

As we know Rockstar love to make Halloween a special time in GTA Online and this year will be no different even though GTA VI will be launching just after it. There will be a “special seasonal Mission Series in the fall” say Rockstar.
That’s not all Rockstar shared this week in relation to what is coming to the game this year. In the next few weeks and months, Rockstar say they will be letting the dripfeed content of vehicles come out. We have reported on all of the datamined vehicles here. On top of that, more drift-capable vehicles are coming and more.
The Kortz Center Heist update has been a bit of a controversial one amongst fans. Whilst the heist missions are being widely praised, changes made to the game such as the nerfing of heist payouts, bugs and what feels like GTA Online going out with a whimper rather than a big bang irks fans.
Last year’s mansions update could have easily been the last update for the game and players would have been happy. With the next iteration of Grand Theft Auto being delayed multiple times, Rockstar have had to keep their older game going longer than expected. That said, all this content is free although some argue the hiest payout changes are a move to get players spending more money on Shark Cards.

***Halloween a special time in GTA Online and this year will be no different even though GTA VI will be launching just before it***
Say what???
VI releases AFTER.
GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 how does it release just before Halloween? 😂😂😂 Simple slip of the mind I guess.
He said just after not before
I always confuse Christmas and Halloween because oct. 31 = dec. 25
The mathematicians that got that are laughing.
But seriously the only way I’d play these games is if you could turn in your gang to the police and then become a police officer and go after the rest of the slimeballs on the streets. That would be a game worth some of my valuable time. 🤏
