Rockstar Games have kicked off their Lunar New Year celebrations with a special competition for the GTA Online community in China alongside events for everyone inside of GTA Online. The lucky winners of the prize will own an extremely rare Rockstar Games collectable.
Over the past year or so, we’ve seen Rockstar Games host region specific events in relation to GTA Online. For example, a Pizza community challenge took place in Italy and the Japanese community smuggled cargo and watched their favourite streamers for rewards. Today’s new competition continues Rockstar’s support for regional communities. We look forward to seeing even more pop up before GTA 6 arrives and of course once it is in our hands.
Special Gift
As spotted by GTA Forums user Shokan, Rockstar Games announced on their Bilibili page that they’re hosting a giveaway. Anyone who subscribes to their account and reposts this specific post by January 27th will be entered to win 1 of 5 Rockstar Games Red Envelope and a secret gift.
In Chinese culture, a red envelope containing money is given on various occasions such as Lunar New Year and birthdays. The Rockstar Games branded one will be something any collector would love to have. It will be awesome to see what these red envelopes by Rockstar and gifts look like.
